October End

We have had a busy, but fun October!

Sometimes we just need dad snuggles.

Still LOVING the scooter!

Just getting ready with mom, this is our morning routine.

Makin funny faces at the camera.

Playing with chalk....

Eating up these last few weeks of park weather! It's awesome! Not too hot, not too cold.
Tripp loves hanging out with these girls, Amanda and Ashley.

Just eating....or playing, but supposed to be eating.

This is Tripp's version of a cartwheel. Yes, that is it.......It's more like a yoga pose.

On occasion we take a bath.

I'm ready to play ball mom, throw it!

Our little sponge just copies EVERYTHING we do.... apparently this is how I was sitting at the time...

Nana Connie came out for a visit, we played and played and played,   It was a short visit and unfortunately I must not have taken many pictures! But it was a great time as always.

I have no clue what these 2 are contemplating about the food, but thought it was a funny picture for sure!

Daddy had a funky schedule one day with a big long break, so we went to visit him! It was so much fun! Tripp was totally intrigued by just about everything, from the helicopters, to the airplanes, to the buses, to the dirt on the ground. Everything is soooo exciting when you are 2!

Pretty intense look on both their faces.... kinda scary... :-)

Let's see, sooooo if we push this.... and pull that... then what happens?

This is awkward dad.

Ok less awkward now,just funny.

Some helicopters coming back to the airport.

Say cheese.......

Daddy's office.

Cute boys!

I've been doing lots of work around the house including finally hanging some pictures, Tripp caught on to that real quick and decided to get his hammer and get to work....

Mom, I can't hammer if you are going to sit there and watch...

We had a grumpy day and fell asleep on mom while she was working!

Tripp started "school" we started out in 2 classes, but now down to 1, the first class overbooked and asked about half the class to reschedule.... we were fine with that.  So now he just goes on Saturdays, and it's the class that he goes to by himself.  He lasted for about 30 minutes of the 45 before he got REALLY upset and realized mom was no where to be found.  We shall try again next time.... It didn't help that the night before was his first time with a REAL babysitter putting him to bed, it didn't work and he went into his room an hour before bedtime and cried for about an hour and a half until he finally fell asleep.  Definitely could have been worse.... :-)

Love this face.

The start of Halloween! Gayle gave Tripp a bucket of non edible items he could play with! He was pretty excited! So was Griffin!

Another Halloween activity, washing daddy's car, and playing in the gutter, what more could a boy ask for....

More buckets of fun!

Raaawwwrrrr!  Ready for Trick or Treating!!!

Tripp and Christian Trick or Treating, Tripp LOVED it, he had such a good time going door to door, he didn't try to go IN all the houses this time, so that was an improvement from last year.  He seemed to have more fun going with other kids, he only did about 3 houses on his own, after Christian went home.

J.D. made it in time to finish out the night!

More buckets...... we made him a bucket of non food and non allergy items that he could trade with us when he got back from Trick or Treating, we all scored!

The boys finished out the night with a little Wii action.

We recently had some awesome celebrations!  November 1st was J.D.s 6 year sober anniversary!
"Nothing is Impossible"

Next celebration was Jon's 30th Birthday! We celebrated with a surprise party for Jon. He thought he was just going to boys night at their usual bro-date spot, PT's, but when he got there he had about 30 people waiting for him!
Yes that is Jon's awesome cake! A barbie doll sitting on a heli-pad hahaha!

Here we have, Ashley, Robert, Tracy, J.D., Debra, Andy, Natalie, Pat, Gayle, Brett, Tiara, Trevor, Jon, Heather, Brianna, Kody, Andrea and Mikey.

Dressing up in daddy's clothes again!

While J.D. was here we went to the Lion Habitat Ranch again, J.D. was dead set on holding a baby cub! It was a great time! Much better than last time, cause the weather was nice and cool this time around! All the Lions were out and about, playing, making noise, and having fun, it was awesome!

These little guys are only 3 weeks old!

J.D. holding the baby cub! Awww

Jodi's turn!

Now Nana's turn, this kitty just wanted to sprawl all out. LOL.

J.D. and Tripp

Jodi and Tripp, Tripp of course won't take his eyes off Jodi long enough to take a picture.

Awwwww. Jodi, Tripp and J.D.

Frisky Kitty.

Another exciting moment at the Lion Habitat.... A bar.... to hang on....

The owner of the habitat feeding the other cubs, These cubs are 18 weeks old. And were SOOOO funny to watch. They reminded us of a mix of dog and cat. So playful, frisky, stubborn and just fun to watch.

Dirt, of course Tripp wanted to play in the dirt while watching the kitties get fed!

Hard to see with the fence in the way, but these cute little guys are 18 weeks old!

After all the hard work and fun weekend, we needed a little pedicure!

This kid cracks us up, keeps us busy, and makes us slightly crazy! We love him!
