May Madness

We have had a very crazy, busy, crazy, fun, crazy, did I mention it was a crazy month? IT WAS. Jon was gone for 3 weeks training for his new job at Classic Lifeguard! Our plans WERE to move to Steamboat Springs, CO, but during training the position in Moab, UT opened up and Jon managed to snag that! We are very happy with the Moab option! Being closer to home is going to be awesome! BUT leaving our Vegas family and friends is going to be very hard! We have met some AMAZING people out here and have had an incredible couple of years! So, the big day is July 1st, we will once again be Utahns.

On another note, here is the summary of our month in pictures....

This, sweet little face! (Gotta capture it while it lasts!) The terrible 3's have started! Here we GOOOO!

He packed his suitcase one day and told me he was going to Gina's, he had apparently had enough of mom for that day. Good thing Gina was home :-)

He LOVES watermelon!

A picasso!

Loves to play in the cat tree..... he gets stuck often too, which is entertaining for the rest of us!

SO cool, just talkin on the phone.... he LOVES to tell stories these days, and they are VERY detailed... and accurate.

He decided to comb his hair right after I did it nice with gel...as you can see, the results are fantastic.

Playing at the splash pad at the district with Nana Debra and Verissa.

Watching basketball before class, like we do EVERY Saturday morning!

Tripp and Elijah, a fellow classmate!

And off they go....

Seabugee! (Spaghetti)

Tripp got a new car bed! There was nothing wrong with his old bed, but  this one is much cooler, and we got a great deal on it, thanks to neighbors wanting to get rid of it ASAP!

This "relaxing" lasted for ummm maybe 2 minutes. MAYBE.

He had been calmer for a day, it did seem weird to me, THEN I found out why, Tripp actually got sick like SICK SICK for the first time EVER! He even threw up! Yeah never done that before.... Of course it happened while Jon was out of town... Good times. It was there and over before we knew it, and he pretty much only acted sick for the little time that he was actually puking, other than that you wouldn't even know he was sick, he even had a fever of 103.00 STILL couldn't tell he was sick!

Of course by the time I got him situated in the bathroom with a bucket... he was done puking.... glad my clothes and I caught most of that.... Grrr.

More orange..... what a stud!
Gayle's son, Jon, was in town over Mother's Day weekend and they were nice enough to include us in their fun activities, so Tripp and I joined them at the Art Festival in Henderson, it was fun, and Jon kept Tripp pretty entertained, or maybe Tripp kept Jon entertained, not sure which, but it was a great time!

Tripp's BFF for the weekend! Jon.

Playing at Costco..... we did a little shopping too.

THEN aunt Mando came out for the weekend! We had a blast....went swimming, well mom didn't and Tripp did reluctantly, cause the water is FREEZING, Tripp and I seem to be the only ones that want our pool water to be about 85 degrees.... our needs were not met this day. But they dragged Tripp in anyway....

Orange, and water, nothing better... on a hot summer day!

You would never know he was up to something mischevious.

Tripp, Mando and mom all went to this new AWESOME park we found... Yep it is pretty much our favorite! Sweet splash pad, and awesome futuristic type toys... yep awesome!

He didn't like how Mom and Mando were playing with this toy, so he was showing us how to do it the right way aka the Tripp way.

Tripp ran and did a summersalt on this FAKE grass and about the time he smooshed his head into the ground is when he realized it was in fact, FAKE grass! Funny part is, he did it again.... and again... good times.

Mom and Tripp were dog sitting Mr. Wilson across the street, these two became best buddies.

MORE orange!

What happens when you let Tripp put on his own lotion.....

Deliciousness.

Cheesin with mom!

Mom, can't you see I'm on the phone....

Memorial Day fun with the neighbor kids!

Stole dad's hat.....

Getting fitted for a tux for the upcoming wedding!!!

Just like daddy!
