December 2015

December was mellow for us, we got to stay home ALL month! We kinda needed a break from all the traveling back and forth, it's fun but a little tiring! Nothing really new this month, other than Christmas fun, new toys, lots of messes, Caffrey cut his 3rd tooth in December, and has learned to grind his teeth (shivers) it's super gross, hopefully that doesn't last too long. Tripp had a blast this Christmas, he was really excited for Christmas, and all that goes with it. We even got to celebrate twice! Debra, Todd, J.D. and Jodi came down one weekend to celebrate with us, then we had REAL Christmas, it only slightly confused Tripp, but he wasn't too worried with getting 2 of them :-)

These 3 are always up to something, yes daddy is included in the mischief, some of the time (maybe most of the time) even the ring leader!

Caffrey likes to sleep on his hands..... and wake up like this.

Caff having a SITTING bath. He was super happy to be able to sit and play with all of Tripps bath toys.

One of those sweet moments I caught on camera .

Such a happy little guy!

Caff's first time in the grocery cart without his car seat. He loved it, and loved all the attention he got from everyone at the store!

He was happy, even though he was stuck rotating in the same spot forever.

One of the favorite cold weather inside activities is legos.

We made and decorated "Santa Cookies", that is what Tripp has named them.

Delish!

Caffery had his own deliciousness, puffs. He was learning how to eat finger foods. Pretty successful once he realized he didn't need to put his whole hand in his mouth to get the food.

Tripp was ready for ALL the snow we got!

Caff bundled up, to go get shots!

More fashion statements, brought to you by Tripp!

Dad and Tripps new Christmas toy!

Caff with his new toy!

We had Tripps best friend John over to decorate cookies with us, so much fun! Now that Tripp can have soy, it opened a whole new world of sugary foods! MOST the cookie candy decor has soy in it, and so do a lot of the "store bought" frostings.

The best way to watch Christmas movies.

Caffrey and his "scrunchy face" smile, we LOVE this little cheeser!

More scrunchy face!

Just cuteness!

Looking like they are up to something.....

More sleeping on our hands.

Babe likes dad and Tripps new toy, she actually tries to chase the cars, she has only been injured a few times.

Crazy little sleeper baby! He loves the corners, and to sleep on his tummy (despite my best efforts to keep him on his back or side) he loves the bumpers, to cuddle into them and into the corners,

Those curls!

Tripp picked out what to leave for Santa, he wanted to leave out dairy milk (guessing he didn't want to share his rice milk). and specifically wanted to leave some carrots for the reindeer, AND he made Jon write a note to Santa specifying what the carrots are for.

What Santa left for Caffrey (not the swing, just in the swing).

What Santa left for Tripp.

Stocking time!

Caff was really excited over the spoons!

Told Tripp to smile nice for a Christmas picture :-)

Caffrey thought this was the most efficient way to open presents....eating them.

Eat the ribbon too.

An apron Tripp made for me, we call me the "accidental chef" around here. :-)
All the writing and drawings are done by Tripp.

The boys and their first wrestling match.

Monster baby!

"Mom, something is wrong with the bath tub, I think it shrunk".  He wasn't super amused with his miniature bath.

Getting him started young on the Starbucks :)
