Tripp Walking

This video was recorded on Tripp's second day of walking.  He loves it!  He is now a walking fool.  Tripp still walks like he is drunk but he is getting better at it every single day.  I have another video but it is too big to upload.  Falling is his specialty.  He falls all the time but he is pretty tough and almost never cries.  He had such a great birthday and enjoyed seeing everyone.  Thanks again to everyone that made the visit and we hope to see the rest of you asap. 

 

HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY!!!

Well our baby boy is one today and he is our pride and joy.  The first year has gone by so fast and he is our little miracle.  Tripp is a total stud and fills this home with love.  A year ago today, I remember rushing to the hospital from Logan.  I barely made it to the hospital in time for the delivery.  I still have very vivid memories of the birth.  So excited...So nervous.  It was the worst feeling in the world when I saw his body start to fade to a grayish-blue color when his head was stuck in his mommy.  It was so hard to just stand there and watch helplessly.  I am actually tearing up right now as I write this (I am such an emotional girl I know) because I remember him finally crying and being so thankful.  That was by far the most amazing sound in the entire world.  It has been an amazing and eventful year.  It has been so nice to live in Las Vegas because I have been able to be home everyday with the family and not miss a thing.

Tripp is a little ball of energy.  He is always exploring and getting into everything.  I think the only time the kid sits still is when he is sleeping.  And even then, he moves all over the place just like his dad.  Some of Tripp's favorite things to play with include his lawn mower, slide/playground, shoes, and his favorite thing is to splash in the dogs' water bowl...little stinker.  He basically loves anything that he shouldn't be playing with.

It has also been so nice to have cleared up his allergies and figured out what was the cause of his rough skin, itching, and excessive spit-up.  Now that his food allergies are under control, his skin is perfect, he never itches, and is all around much happier.  We did get his blood drawn earlier this week to retest his food allergies to see if anything has changed and we should receive the results next week so keep your fingers crossed.

Catch the kitty

I swing almost every night to calm down before bed.

Oh Mom, don't tickle me.

Mmm...rice milk.  The best part is that I no longer need my
ridiculously expensive formula.

Good dental hygiene is so important.  I always floss.  I need to keep my seven
teeth nice and clean.
