August was a big and busy month! Tripp turned 6! We had a little celebration at home on his real birthday, then had a friends birthday party in Salt Lake! Tripp also started Kindergarten! He was SO excited to go to school, and even more excited to ride the bus!
Mom and Dad got to have a date day when Nana Connie came down for the weekend, and we took off to the river to run what Moab calls "They Daily" It's a 14 mile section of the Colorado River with some fun/crazy rapids that were much bigger when actually on them than they looked from the road! :-). It was the longest I (mom) had been away from the kids, pretty much ever, but it was so much fun! We survived, and so did Nana Connie after spending the entire day with the munchkins!

| It wasn't until after he left and we were back home that we realized he didn't even say goodbye! No hugs, no kisses, nothing! We were all apparently way too distracted for all of that! When he got home he was still SO excited over school and it has stayed that way... still today (Sept 22nd) :-) |
