August has been fun and busy! Tripp turned 4, Caffrey turned 4 months. We went to Salt Lake, Tripp had an allergy appointment at Primary Childrens, nothing really new and exciting, but most of his allergies have gone down a little bit, so that is better than nothing. He is still very allergic to Dairy, Eggs, Peanuts and Wheat, but the others are possibly getting eliminated shortly. We have another test coming up in September, then will start food challenges with some or all of the lower allergies (soy, coconut, almond, sesame). Tripp is also getting ready to start online Preschool in September, we would love for him to GO to preschool, but with his allergies still being a little crazy, we are going to do online and hopefully be able to go next year, (since we are going to hold him back an extra year for Kindergarten because of his age). Caffrey is growing like a little weed, he is pretty happy all the time, very smiley, loves to watch Tripp, and play with his "Ellie" (his elephant toy). Caff has started solid foods this month, he has tried rice cereal (not a fan unless it's in the bottle), carrots, peas and sweet potatoes. Caffrey also moved into his own room this month and is doing great!

| Our poor Griff is aging quickly. Probably down to our last while with our old boy. He has started having seizures (we think) and has had a lot of ER vet visits trying to figure out what is going on... but what it seems to be coming down to is neurological issues of some kind... possibly cancer, tumors or something else, he has been put on seizure meds and hasn't had any in a few day, so hopefully that will help him for a while! |
