September

Playing a game, which involved putting his CLEAN cup lids on the dirty floor and jumping over them. The good news, it entertained him for about an hour!

Super baby posing, with all his gear, bracelets, ankle bands, etc.

We get a little rain here in Henderson! This was our backyard after only about 10 minutes of down pour! Jon made a joke that we had our own swimming pool in the backyard, Tripp didn't appreciate that joke and was VERY upset that he couldn't go swimming!

Trying on daddy's boots, and cheesin!

Taking Mani for a walk.... love these boys!

Sup...Just walkin my poodle!

Such a stinker! He loves his teddy bear leash..... guess that is a good thing... :-)

Didn't feel so good for about half a day, still don't know what was wrong.... but momma took in all the cuddles while they lasted!

Allergy testing! This is how we distracted Tripp while the nurses attacked his back! He did so good during the test!

This is Tripp's back during the test, he had 4 positives pop up on the scratch test, Milk, Wheat, Eggs and Peanuts.  Our Dr. is wanting us to try out some other foods that are NOT part of those 4. he wants us to try the ones that came up positive on the blood test, because they could be more of an intolerance instead of an actual allergy.  Bring on the craziness! We have been trying corn this past week, corn was his lowest allergy on the blood test, next will be coconut, then soy.  Wish us luck.

More stickers! More fun! Itchy back!

Mommas arm.... so fun! MOM is allergic to adhesive...so fun!

OFF TO UTAH! This was our sweet ride for the trip! Jon LOVED it! Me? Not so much... great for the trip, NO I will never own one!

This was Tripp's sweet ride, I mean bed, for the week! Nana Debra couldn't resist it! Tripp loved it!

Waiting for family pictures.... having so much fun playing in the field.... THEN we found rabbit poop and of course had to touch it, good thing for mommies with babies and wipes.... Thanks Jen.

While the photographer was doing her thing, I was snapping pictures with my phone, we didn't realize what Tripp was doing until later.... figures this one everyone else is actually smiling and looking at the camera, EXCEPT TRIPP..... I'm gonna guess daddy had something to do with this....

I can't get over how cute all the cousins are! Tripp enjoyed his cousins SOOO much! It made it so hard for us to leave again.  He still talks about everyone everyday. He literally can name almost every person in the family without any help.  It's almost like a trivia game we play, he likes to make sure I know where everyone is at, at least 10 times a day....Mom, BeckOwen (no that is not a spelling error, that is what he calls them, apparently they are one unit) yes, Tripp, they are in Utah. Ok, Laura? In Utah, Connor? In Utah, Nana Connie? In Utah, then to see if I am paying attention, he throws me a curve ball, Dad? Dad's at work. Ok. JD? In Utah, Nana Debra, Utah, then after about 50 questions... he ends it with GO UTAH! Haha, love this kid!

The little cousins!

Playing at the zoo with the fam.... Uncle Dustin helping Tripp see better!

Weirdo...

Tripp, Tripp's girlfriend, Jodi and Unky J. Tripp can't take his eyes off her, I think he's afraid J.D. will steal her....

As sad as we were to leave Utah, we headed back to what we call home now.... Tripp lightened the mood by asking Monkey to drive..... soooo we let Monkey drive, he did pretty good for his first go at it.  Tripp thought it was hilarious!

Then Tripp decided it was time for Monkey to nap....

Then Tripp napped...

Then we were home! And back to playing dress up with mom's shoes and just being a big cheese ball!

We had a rough morning, well a few of them....

Rough mornings ended with happy evenings, AND popsicles.

The weather is finally cooling off enough to play outside.... YAY.

We have weekly play dates with our friends.  Eli is here somewhere, and is Tripp's age, but Tripp seems to be more fixated on the baby this time.

Going to the store, and insisted on wearing his BOOTS.  They are size 8, he wears size 5, so you can imagine how well that goes.

A project we have been working on, completed! Tripp's new room!

August

It feels like August came and went, just like that! Our baby boy is officially 2, and it is completely bitter sweet! He talks A TON now, and is getting more and more clear, PLUS mom and dad are pretty fluent in toddler now! Dad wins the award this month for figuring out the hardest word yet,  it was "calculator" Tripp was actually saying it really well, but we just really didn't even clue in that he was, in fact talking about a calculator!  Other than lots of talking and learning new things and new words (some good and some bad) not too much "new" stuff has been happening. But here is our summary, with pictures, for the month!

Tripp still loves to "accessorize" with headbands, bracelets (hair ties), sunglasses and pretty much anything else that looks cool!

This was at the doctors office for Tripp's 2 year appointment, again he has all the necessary accessories, including his comb.  His appointment went really well, he had a current allergy test and all of his food allergies are going down, except wheat, wheat took a decent jump in the wrong direction, but all the others have gone down, nothing drastic, but the fact they are going down, is definitely a good sign! His highest food allergy is now eggs, it used to be milk, but milk has now dropped below eggs, and corn is ALMOST completely gone!  Tripp has an appointment with an allergist on September 12th, our pediatrician wants an allergist involved in Tripp's care due to the fact that Tripp has had an anaphylactic reaction. So hopefully the allergist can be helpful and maybe teach us something new about allergies!

Tripp digging in Gayle's pantry, he takes after his daddy, has to investigate anywhere there is food!  Jon usually goes for fridges though!

Tripp playing with Maggie, Gayle's dog.  Tripp started saying her name this month, it is pretty funny he really accentuates the GIE part... he say's Ma-GEE!

Tripp got a Mr. Potato head, he thinks it is pretty cool, but he REALLY loves Mr. Potato Heads glasses!

Watching T.V. with Mr. Potato Heads glasses.

Playing with his cowboy boots, he wore them everywhere this day, everyone we ran into thought it was pretty awesome! He just needs  cowboy hat now!

Tripp, right after dad did his hair, with gel, Tripp decided it wasn't good enough and fixed it his way....

Ready to go to the spash pad!

I am THIS big!

At the splash pad, Tripp is in the center of the photo, he was walking around the entire park scoping it out before he decided if he was actually going to get in the water or not.

Mom's diaper changing skills are questionable.

Tripp wears sunglass inside a lot, so we have renamed him "Usher" when he does this.

Talking on the phone.  Tripp LOVES to talk on the phone! He acts like his daddy and wonders off though, so we usually have to follow him if we want the phone back.

Just checking to see if we can still fit in this... NOPE.

Cheeser!

Gotta eat lunch WITH sunglasses!

Another picture of how Tripp does his own hair, right after someone else does it the "wrong" way.

He's just so cute!!!!

I don't know if he was hiding behind the chair or what, he was watching Toy Story 2, and this was his "seat" of choice.

Creative little mind. Created his own T.V. tray.

Racing his car and truck!

Tripp was so excited when we found this "Cars" shirt in the bag of old clothes from Laura, Scott, Beck and Owen.  He LOVES cars! One of his new words is "CACHOW"

We traded Tripp in for a duck!

Watching Football with daddy! Proud daddy, Tripp LOVES to watch football!

Tripp decided he needed mittens this day, so he used his socks.

Tripp had to show Mando the dinosaur house, and they got to sit on a baby T-Rex!

Aunt Mando lets Tripp ride in the cool cart at the grocery store!

Lil Stud!

Mom, you have NO proof I made this mess!

Monkey is ready for dinner.  Monkey is still is best little buddy!

We seem to be having more and more run ins with the kitchen table lately. Must be that perfect height right now.  Mom is using this as leverage to try to get a new kitchen table.... working? Maybe?

Tripp telling Louie "cheese".  Yes we have the most patient old dog EVER! Such a good boy.

Well that is it for August!  Come back next month!!!
