Busy Busy Busy and More Busy!

We have been super busy (as in we I mean Tripp and as in busy I mean being a toddler) so I thought I better update now, before I have 8000 pictures to share instead of only 4000 (slightly exaggerated maybe).  We seem to have been REALLY active this month and trying new things, causing more trouble and just being a perfect little ball of chaos!

We made sponge bombs! They are quite fun! Tripp had as much fun with them dry as he did with them wet! Griffin enjoyed them too, maybe a little too much! Good time for all!

Tripp's favorite chore is helping daddy feed the dogs, and he figured he should look cool while doing so.

Again here we are lookin cool on our Beemer, sunglasses on, mail key in the mouth, AWESOME! Speaking of AWESOME, Tripp's new favorite thing to say is "I AM AWESOME" he growls the awesome part, it is seriously funny!

He thinks he was hiding... in the closet.. in a basket of balls, which he ended up being stuck in, mom had to help, kinda ruined the hiding part :-)

Tripp got a new chair, due to mommy's weakness of cute tiny furniture! He loves it. And YES he has his mommas sense of style with the non matching socks! Love him!

If you look closely you will see a cute lil mischevious boy in the closet! Yep he dumped ALL of his toys all over the floor RIGHT after we cleaned them all up!

We like to re-arrange the furniture, the chairs do look much better this way than around the table like mom usually has them.

FATHER DAY! We started the day with Starbucks! Ok maybe that was for mom, but STILL it was a way to keep the house nice and quiet while daddy got to sleep in, and to his suprise he woke up to a delicious Starbucks Frap waiting for him!!!

Tripp got daddy a rock, painted it with chalk board paint and wrote "My daddy rocks" on it!

Tripp was a little intense on the present opening.

OMG TOOLS! What are we going to do with ALL of these? Don't worry dad, Tripp will put these to great use!

We then went to Cafe Rio for Father's Day dinner! YES Jon chose Cafe Rio over ANYTHING else! He LOVES this place!  Tripp stayed perfectly entertained the whole time! We went with our great friends and neighbors, Pat and Gayle! Gayle used a Grandma trick and packed a gift bag full of random toys and things to play with, it was amazing! Tripp was PERFECT for 2 hours! (So was Gayle, hahahah, we love you).

Tripp had his first dentist appointment! It went SHOCKINGLY amazing! I really thought it was going to be more chaotic, but no, Tripp was AWESOME, sat still the entire time, opened his mouth when he was supposed to, let he dentist clean his teeth with NO problems! YAY!

I'm sure he was digging for something, yet came up with nothing other than a HUGE mess!

Daddy was in charge this morning, as you see he did a GREAT job and NEVER let Tripp out of his site! HAHA, good times!

When Nana Debra was in town we went to eat at P.F. Changs! Daddy and Tripp stayed entertained with the bag of toys idea we stole for Gayle, again worked amazing!

Griffin just chillin, he wanted to make the blog, so he did a nice drooly pose right on the table!

Tripp decided this was a good place to put all his balls, unfortunately it will not accept new dirty diapers when full of toys....

Went and visited daddy's new work! Tripp loved playing on the stairs and seeing all the kaka's (helicopters)

Daddy's first OFFICIAL day of work!  Isn't he a stud!?!

Tripp likes to walk Mani, not sure how much Mani likes it, but he is a great sport about it.

We learned how to put our shirt on.... where our shorts should go..... :-)

We lost in a battle against a spray bottle.

Went on a mommy/son date to Barnes and Noble, Tripp found the train station and that is as far as we got.

Just chillin.... all you need is a comfy chair, a foot stool, a train, bottle of water and some milgo (milk)

Tripp learned that he can reach ANYTHING if he just moves a chair to it! Mommy LOVES this new trick! UGH

We had a rough 24 hours, on Monday, we just got home from Tripp's Dr appt. when we were getting ready to leave , Tripp smashed, I MEAN SMASHED, his fingers in a door! It was the worst! I have NEVER seen him in so much pain! We were supposed to go to mommy's Dr appt but instead had to make an urgent appt for Tripp's fingers, luckily mommy's Dr was able to check him over, Dr said probably not broken, but possibly sprained and definetly bruised! YIKES.  Not even 24 hours later, Tripp came running into the living room as happy as can be jumped into his tent, which had a box toy in it, which Tripp landed on mouth first, it was a bloody, yucky mess! Tripp gashed open part of his gums above his front tooth and cut that little thingy (technical term) that attaches your lip to your gums on the upper front part of your mouth. Yeah it was NOT fun! His lip swelled up NICE AND BIG! Tripp kept pointing to it saying owee. We would kiss it and he would say "All better"  So sad :-(

After the mouth incident, we went swimming with our huge lip. Swimming seemed to make everything A-OKAY! He loves to swim!

Hello guys, I've been waiting for like 5 whole seconds! HURRY!
Tripp has learned some awesome phrases lately, such as "Come here", "I'm coming", "Come sit", Let's go", we are working on adding "please" to the end of all those :-)

Tripp's first bubble bath! At first he was NOT ok with this. He did not want it touching him and was trying to get away from the bubbles, but once daddy taught him that you can blow them all over the place, we were good to go!
